Sweet Summertime! The Mankato area is full of summer fun!  Whether you’re looking for Southern Minnesota festivals and fairs, pools and beaches or indoor activities our Guide to Mankato Area Summer Fun has you covered!

This guide is published in partnership with the Children’s Museum of Southern Minnesota

The Children’s Museum of Southern Minnesota, settled in downtown Mankato, offers hands-on play and learning opportunities for children birth through ten and their families. The Museum’s indoor and outdoor exhibits are all designed to stimulate inquiry, spark curiosity, and reveal the wonders of STEAM and agriculture, while also calling attention to Southern Minnesota heritage and Dakota culture. Daily admission to the Museum is $8 per person older than 12 months and, for those who like to play more, there are membership packages starting at $108 for a whole year.  Open seven days a week this summer!
